Determining if Hebrew is installed in Windows

1. Copy שלום into a Notepad (.txt) document.
2. If it displays correctly, Hebrew is installed correctly in Windows.

2. If it displays correctly, Hebrew is installed correctly in Word.

Installing Hebrew Support in Windows

• Windows 95/Windows 98
  Need Hebrew Windows or Hebrew-enabled Windows. I think MS Office 2000 and above supports Hebrew even in non-Hebrew Windows.
• Windows ME
  Click here for instructions on how to install..
• Windows NT and later (XP, 2000, 2003, etc.)
  1. You will probably need your Windows install disk.
  2. The Win Heblish Installer will install the Hebrew to your OS.
